WORST SURVIVOR FINALE...EVER

Spoiler alert.

Okay, Natalie walks away with 7 votes to Russel's 2. Russel arguably played the game as good as, or better than any Survivor contestant to date. Sure he was an egotistical jerk at times, but he backed it. Found 2 immunity idols without a single clue and pulled the strings for the entire 39 days.

Natalie sat there and did what Russel told her to.

How does that warrant $1million? Hurt feelings or not, the jury needs to separate the game from real life, and their hurt feelings. Grow up and vote accordingly. They didn't this time. Maybe when Russel returns for the next All Star edition, they will.

What do you think?

  1. Well technically if you go with the position of "deserving" the million in Survivor, it should be the person who can actually "survive," which would be neither Russell nor Natalie. Survivor is a popularity contest, and certainly most of us hated Russell, so I am soooooo glad he did not win any money for his pompous ass behavior. What I'd really like to see is who can really "survive." The weakest link is the one who should go home every week. It shouldn't be the one who wins the challenges that gets immunity -- it should be the one that comes in last that automatically goes home. No voting necessary.

  2. I get what you're saying, but that's what makes Survivor unique from other shows. The "OUTWIT" part of their tagline. I did not like Russesl early on at all, but clearly he was the "best player", as in he made the most moves, found immunity idols without clues, etc. Nobody can deny that. To reward Natalie with a million bucks, that reaks of sour grapes.

  3. Russell should have won, hands down. If people don't like him for his behavior and cockiness so be it, but he was the best survivor player EVER! He didn't need clues to find immunity idols and highly pissed the producers off with that and he played the game. I believe him when he said he doesnt act like that in real life. He took the game very seriously and knew exactly what to do to win. He should of won.
