A VERY IMPORTANT DAY TO ME

Today is an important day to me. Directly, it has nothing to do with me, but indirectly it has changed me forever.
Today is my wife Amy's birthday.
If she were never born, I wouldn't be who I am today.
She wouldn't have been there to help me through my life's worst memories.
Or to help in creating my life's happiest ones.
She wouldn't have been there to walk down the aisle with me.
Or to give life to my son Jake.
Worst of all for me, I may have settled for someone inferior to her in every way.
Happy Birthday Amy! I guess your birthday is important to me...directly.
